Our History
The stalwarts of The Syndicate MC have a history and friendship that goes back to the mid 1960’s when the then young and adventurous rode under a banner of a mighty Johannesburg club. Over the decades many drifted away from the biking scene as commitments and priorities changed. However the bonds of friendship and passion for biking still ran in their veins.
After some years out of the club scene, it was decided to get the crew back together and dust off the chrome and leather and head out on the highway once again under a unifying patch.
In November 1997 a new club was founded and a mixture of old and new faces hit the highways of the RSA flying the colours of Satan Saints.

Towards the middle of 2004 unrest grew in their ranks and by the end of that same year five chapters decided to start a new journey together.
On the 5th of November 2004 this hard riding band of brothers held a tele-conference that spanned the country from Johannesburg to Cape Town and Knysna to Port Edward.
Amongst other things a name, chapter names and a constitution were determined and finalized. The Syndicate MC was born.
The founding chapters were: Cape Town, Garden Route, Jo’burg , South Coast, West Rand and United Kingdom.

The design of our patch was carefully considered to reflect the spirit of the members. The final patch is a combination of the symbols adopted by our chapters including the Viking helmet, the pirate and the swords of justice.
The compass points represent the geographic diversity of our chapters and the spirit of adventure and travel. The Syndicate MC choose the 2005 Buffalo Rally in Mossel-Bay as the venue for the first national gathering. This resulted in us winning the biggest club at the 2005 Buffalo Rally. The foundation was laid and the path set.
Since then, The Syndicate MC has grown in stature within the biking community. Testament to this is continuous growth that the club has undergone. The constant mind set of quality not quantity is a foremost principle. In 2005 The South Chapter was opened, followed by Port Elizabeth.
In 2011 both the Jefferies Bay and Bloem chapters opened, followed by Boland in 2014. Then, at the end of 2015 the Border chapter was opened and shortly after that in early 2016 the Helderberg chapter followed.
Today, The Syndicate MC has the following chapters, each with a distinctive breast patch: Bloemfontein, Boland, Border, Brandfort, Cape Town, Garden Route, Helderberg, Highveld, Jeffreys Bay, Jo’burg, Overberg, Pirates, Port Elizabeth, South, West Coast and West Rand.
The Syndicate MC is an active member of various Biking Councils throughout RSA. Those councils in turn are part of a National Alliance uniting all with a common bond of brotherhood, respect and biking at heart.
